When a thinker finds lost words, stories happen…

Amusing Smile.

1–2 minutes

There’s something strangely amusing about the way you smile.

Adorable, yes. Mysterious, definitely. Sweet, oh for sure. Mischievous, always.

But amusing too. And not in a ‘oh look that’s laughable’ or ‘oh look that’s something weird’ sort of way. Your smile just evokes a sense of fun in me. A sense of ‘that’s cool’. I’ve noticed it recently. Not the smile — I’ve noticed it every time you do it when I’m around. I’m talking about this sense of amusement I get when you smile. It doesn’t really matter if your smile is because of something I said or did. It can simply be something you felt on your own that made you feel happy.

Someone said that feelings are supposed to be fleeting. Both positive and negative ones. I remember there was an example they said about anger. That you are not to suppress anger before other people to appear as a calm person. You simply have to let the anger flow through you, and slide off. You have to acknowledge how you feel and then let go. That apparently prevents you from lashing out and acting in an often immature way.

But this amusement I feel when I see you smile. I don’t quite like letting go of it. Even if I am supposed to feel something entirely different given the circumstances.

I just know that I want more of it, and then some more. And maybe, just after I have finally had enough of it, I would like to have some more.
