The Pilfered Diaries

When a thinker finds lost words, stories happen…

Through the Clouds.

1–2 minutes

They tell you to watch where you’re going as you walk through the path called life. Plan for this, plan for that, something can go wrong here, and something good can be lost there. There’s so many things you have to take care of, so many things to miss.

My thoughts on the matter have been along the same lines as well. What if I am not continuously watching something, what if I turn my head around and things go haywire. Yes, I’ve been an overthinker for as long as I can remember.

But while that is quite the fact, photography has been the kind of reprieve that has always helped me detach, always helped me dissociate from the barrage of thoughts, wonderings, worries, and anxieties of everything. Of course, at times, it has had the con of making me certain important events. But isn’t that the point? You can’t have everything, but you can have little things that mean a lot.

Like these moments when I was able to capture the sun hidden behind the clouds, but still managing to look absolutely mesmerizing with the majestic god rays. I don’t quite remember which one it was, but during the time I clicked one of these pictures, I had been trying to get over a rather painful and mentally exhausting event of my life. Yes, clicking the pictures was a temporary escape, yes the god rays didn’t resolve my problems in a god-like manner. But they did give me something to remember now that not all problems last forever.
