The brahminy starling or brahminy myna is a member of the starling family of birds. It is usually seen in pairs or small flocks in open habitats on the plains of the Indian subcontinent.

This set of images was taken on July 06, 2018 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. They are some of the initial pictures I had taken with my then newly bought camera.
This little creature just happened to be sitting there, probably looking for its next hunt right in front of my balcony, and I happened to be trying out my zoom lens.

And would you look at that, he’s looking right into the lens, and probably into my eyes as well. I decided to stand there, making as little movement as possible, the crosshairs of my viewfinder trained directly at it. I was then greeted by him striking more amazing poses for me.

Do let me know in the comments what you think about the pictures, and do come back for more…
